Writing Hack #20 of 33—Writing Hacks for Aspiring Authors Who Crave to Be to Published
By Deborah S. Nelson, Author-Book Coach-Speaker
Writing is not the easiest career to enter. You may expect some twists and turns along the way. Some people graduate from college with a degree in English or something else and go to work for a magazine or newspaper low on the totem pole.
That was the old way. Today, the forms of writing have expanded at least 10-fold. However, you enter your writing career, keep the dream alive, as it may require many steps before you see your dream as a writer fulfilled.
Writing for the Internet is a new frontier. You can start a writing career with a blog, a webpage, social media, or work as a freelance writer for people who need content for the website. A multitude of opportunities is available. The Internet is the Publishing Medium of the 21st century and everyone needs content. Videos are becoming more popular, but even videos need scripts written.

So, keep on dreaming about being a writer and ask your dreams to grow, then write them in your journal so that you may see how far you have come. Keep visualizing what being a published author looks like to you. Including pictures, and a story to illuminate your dream to become a full-time author is a tremendous way to actually make it happy. See my book, Finding the Author Within and Published at Last!, to learn how to create your vision book which defines your path becoming an author.
